 BACKGROUND

         Playstation 3 (PS3) is 3rd generation of PlayStation after PlayStation One (PS1) , PlayStation Two (PS2). It was first released on 11 November 2006, in Japan and latest PS3 with slim model was officially released on 18 August 2009 .PS3 was produced by Sony Computer Entertainment. the price in Malaysia was RM 800 - RM 1299 for 160GB version and RM 900 -RM 1499 for 320GB version.

         Xbox 360 is a game console produced by Microsoft.It was 2nd generation of Xbox series after Xbox One. It was officially released on 12 May 2005. the price in Malaysia was RM 1400- RM 1600.

WHICH HAS BETTER PICTURE ?

In my opinion , PS3 has a slightly better graphic than xbox 360 . PS3 is using Nvidia RSX graphics processor, with 25g MB XDR main memory and 256 GDDR3 video memory. Xbox 360 using ATI Xenos with 10 MB embedded eDRAM and 512 MB DDR3 video RAM. PS3 game look even brighter and sharper than Xbox 360 game.

 The PS3 has Blu-ray Drive .It provides HD output with great sound quality This means you can play videos,movies and music which uses a blu-ray cd on the PS3. If we want to watch movie in high definition we can play a blu-ray disc in ps3 and watch it on television.

 CONTROLLER FREE-GAMING

Sony's Move

Xbox Kinect

Both PS3 and Xbox 360 has its own controller-free gaming. PS3 controller-less console gaming called PS3 Sony's move while Xbox 360 called Xbox Kinect.Sony's move device look alike microphone with a light ball at the top. we need to move the sony's move device to play the game. Xbox kinect is using a motion sensor.The player need to stand infront of the kinect device and the device will recognise the movement of the player and the game will be played based on the player movement. the game that can be played using Sony's Move and Xbox Kinect is like Sport Game ,Fighthing Game, Interactive Game and so on.
